Skydive Lillo as a professional organization operating 7 days a week, 365 days a year, starting at 09:00 am until sunset. This means you can take advantage of every day of your skydiving holiday and jump as much as you want. The weather in Lillo allows jumping all year round which is a huge advantage over some other countries in Europe. While others are waiting for good jumping conditions you will be able to finish your whole AFF course in a matter of days.

Instructors

Our Instructors have an average of 4,500 jumps and an average of 14 years in the sport! They are professional skydivers and instructors with experience from other countries and schools. We have both world champions and world record holders on board.

The e-logbook. Overview of your jumps online.

Once more, at Skydive Lillo we put all our efforts into the quality of the training and the service we provide for our students, innovating and delivering the best tools and training methods available at the moment.

The electronic "e-logbook" is a new tool, used exclusively in our AFF school and available for all our students: The e-logbook will allow our students, as well as our instructors, to have a continuous and detailed overview of all the jumps of the student, starting with the ground school on the first day till the completion of the A-license. Our instructors will enter all the information of the jumps in the system, so that the e-logbook will always be updated. After the students AFF graduation, he/she can update the online logbook him-/herself through this tool, from any computer, using the username and password provided when started the course. Depending on where you do your course, the quality of the course, the services post course and guarantees etc will differ. Skydive Lillo is an established, well-known drop zone and by booking through the drop zone you will be able to deal directly with the school with out any intermediate agencies.

Landing areas

Skydive Lillo has large landing areas with an area just for students. On your first jump you will be relieved when you see the flat, open ground under you without forests, lakes or power lines!

Equipment

Skydive Lillo uses the latest equipment manufactured by the best in the industry. After your course you will have a range of 25 different parachute systems for renting or testing if you are looking to buy your own. This means you won't have to wait your turn to use a parachute.

Long-term commitment

Skydiving is a very intensive sport and can have a huge impact on someone's life. For us, the relationship between instructor and student is very important, not only during AFF but also after. We want all of our students to feel that they have someone they trust that can give them clear and correct advice on any skydiving matter even after their course has finished. For that reason all of our instructors are on email or can be contacted by phone so after you return to your home country you can still maintain your reliable point of contact in the sport. Camera flyers

Camera flyers are available on the drop zone every day so you can get any of your jumps filmed (AFF levels 1-7 are filmed by your instructor as part of the course). Being able to see yourself in freefall and analyze your performance using video footage will help you to learn faster. You can also take a DVD home with you as a souvenir fro your course. Still pictures are also available if you want them.

Professionalism

For the duration of your course you will find your instructor will have the utmost professional attitude towards you. All of our students are treated with the same level of professionalism by all of our staff regardless of age, sex, nationality or any other factor.

Recreational drugs are strictly not allowed while jumping and are not encouraged at any time on the drop zone. However, you may do as you please when jumping is over and away from the drop zone.

School prestige

Gaining your license from an internationally recognized school will make it much easier for you when you return home or if you go to another drop zone to jump. Some drop zones will insist on you repeating levels or doing 'check' dives if they are unsure of the standards that you have been trained to. At Lillo we insist on the highest standards and these standards have become recognized at UK drop zones and throughout Europe.

Altitude

At Skydive Lillo the normal altitude for jumping is not lower than 12,500 ft. This means a freefall time of 50 seconds which will give you plenty of time for learning and practicing your skills. Not every school offers this altitude every day due to aircraft with less power or airspace restrictions.

Further training

Skydive Lillo can help you after your AFF course to advance your skydiving skills in almost any area of skydiving you choose. We offer courses in formation skydiving, free flying, canopy piloting, base jumping etc. Additionally we run packing courses and we can even help you to become an instructor yourself through our instructor rating school.

Events

At Skydive Lillo we run special events for our recent graduates or "Youngsters". You will be able to meet and jump with like-minded people of a similar level to you. You will also have the opportunity to improve your skills in any area of skydiving or take advantage of our load organizing. Our website (in your own language) will keep you updated of all the upcoming events or promotions.

International School with international programs

We provide British, Spanish, German and Portuguese speaking Instructors. Every Instructor and every staff member at Skydive Lillo speaks English. You will also meet students from other countries from around the world and enjoy the experience of sharing time with these students. Your training will be according your own countries regulations.

Skydive Lillo can arrange your insurance that will cover you for third party liability (90.000 €) and unlimited medical assistance on your arrival. We have a special arrangement with an insurance company and the costs for the insurance are therefore lower than normal. You can purchase the insurance for the length of time you need it - 15/30/120 days or one year. If you wish we can arrange this for you on check-in.

Location

School and Drop zone are located within easy walking distance from the town. This means it is easy for you to go back and forth to your accommodation if you choose to stay in the town. In the town there is a supermarket and a number of bars and restaurants that you can choose to eat or drink in, in the evenings. At the drop zone we have a cafeteria where you can eat and drink during the day and a bar for the first beer after jumping.

Sponsorship projects

We currently sponsor a number of talented people. Pablo Hernandez Moll who works at Skydive Lillo as an AFF Instructor, Tandem master and Camera flyer has sponsorship through the drop zone to train and compete in Canopy Piloting competitions. He is a World champion in the intermediate class in canopy piloting and won bronze in the open class of the European Canopy Piloting Championships 2005. We also sponsor the members of the World Formation Record Team, both of whom are AFF Instructors and Tandem masters on the drop zone. Last but certainly not least we sponsor Nils Predstrup who is multiple and current world champion in freestyle and works on the drop zone as a freefly and freestyle coach and camera flyer.
